As part of the fashion social game, you will open, design and run your own virtual fashion boutique, fill it with real branded products of your choice while competing with your friends and other Stylmee community members by challenging your knowledge and taste in fashion and décor..
Brand collections is where you can view all brands on Stylmee and their collections.
Enter Stylmee City allows you to walk through and view the virtual 3D fashion city in Stylmee where each boutique represents one of the many fashion designer brands.
My boutique is your personal fashion boutique that is in the Stylmee City along with all the other branded fashion boutiques. You start with an empty store, either 1000, 2000 or 3000 square feet, and you decorate it, merchandise your styles and open up to the community to view. Itʼs part of the Stylmee social game, that provides you a chance to experience running your very own fashion boutique business and challenges your fashion-”ability”. Once you have selected a boutique, you cannot change its size, so please choose wisely.
My styles is where you curate your top styles from Stylmee. Think of it as your personal boutique inventory. Itʼs how you earn the game currency; Stylcash, based on how many people from the community like the styles you have chosen. When a fashion friend directly “loves” a style in your shop you earn $50 Stylcash, when anyone within the Stylmee community “loves” the same style that you have in your shop, you earn $10 Stylcash. You can curate 10, 20 or 30 styles in your boutique depending on the size. The more styles you have, the more Stylcash you can earn. You can change styles that arenʼt performing at any time during the game, its up to you as the owner to manage your inventory to maximize your sales!
Fashion friends is where you can find and follow people from the Stylmee community who you find interesting. When you follow another Stymee member, you have access to view their boutique, their “my styles”, “fashion feed”, and more. Its a great way to connect, compete and add to the enjoyment of the social game.
Fashion feed is your own personal list and links to your favorite fashion websites and blogs that you can view while you are in the Stylmee community, at any time. Its a great way to find out everything that is going on in fashion, from your favorite sources, all in one place. You can add up to 20 links or feeds. Simply tap the website or blog name ( link ) and view that site from within the app. It makes browsing the web and your favorite sites so easy...
In “my profile” there are 4 areas; Info ( info on how to use Stylmee ), Profile ( your personal profile information including your shop name, Tutorial ( a video slide tutorial of how to use Stylmee and Messages ( where you receive the messages that other members of the Stylmee community leave you ). Visit this area to learn more about Stylmee or to update information on yourself for others in the community to see.
When in any of the 3D areas; Stylmee City and any boutique, you can move yourself around the app easily with the controller on the bottom left which when pressed will move you in the direction you are pressing. Hold down the direction for continuous movement, pull your finger off to stop. While moving, you can use any finger on any other area of the iPad screen to change your direction and view perspective. For example, you can look up by swiping up, down by swiping down, and so on. Think of the controller as your legs with your finger swipe acting as your head direction. Its an amazing feature that allows you to get up close to all areas of the Stylmee City and boutiques.
When in a branded boutique or a fashion friends boutique, simply tap on any piece of furniture which is merchandised with product; clothing, shoes or bags. By tapping that piece of furniture you it will show you the products that specific Stylmee member has assigned and merchandised to that piece of furniture. You will be able to see all details related to that style by simply tapping on that style image.
Similar styles will show you all the styles within Stylmee that are similar to the style you are currently viewing and comparing it to. It allows you with one tap to view other options for the same item from different brands. Its a great way to make sure you are picking a style that you really like and that you arenʼt missing out on a hidden gem. By tapping on any of the similar style results, you can view all the same details as you would within any featured style including details of the brand name, fabric and price.
The heart has always represented love, and in the Stylmee community thats exactly how Stylmee members show their love for a style in a boutique. Each time you “love” someoneʼs style or they “love” yours, the receiver of the love earns $50 Stylcash dollars. Its like making a sale in your boutique! If a style that you have selected for your boutique is being “loved” by members within the community but not necessarily from within your shop, you earn $10 Stylcash dollars for picking a style that the community agrees is great. Either way, you have to be very smart and use your keen sense of fashion when picking which styles go in your “my styles” to make sure you maximize your opportunity to earn Stylcash.
From within “fashion feed” simply tap “add a feed” and enter a website URL. The Stylmee app will automatically search and set up a link to that website or blog address. Once the feed is established, you can tap the feed name; ie. www.wwd.com, and WWD will open up inside the app in the window to the right. You can view the website the same way you always would. You can add up to 20 preset URLs. You can edit your feeds at any time. This allows you to stay on top of the latest in fashion and fashion news while staying in and enjoying the Stylmee community.
Your profile is located in the “my profile” area from the Main Menu. Within this area you can view information on Stylmee, the tutorial for Stylmee, send messages and read your messages received from other members of the Stylmee community and of course st up, view and edit your profile.
From the Main Menu, simply tap the “fashion friends” icon. From there enter a boutique name / username or a persons name to find them within the Stylmee community. Once you have found who you are looking for, you can decide to follow that member. Games, like shopping is usually better when done in company, so make sure to go out and find and engage with other members to make your experience with Stylmee even greater!
You can send messages to other Stylmee community members while in your “Fashion Friends” section. Simply tap the member boutique name you wish to message, then tap the “Message” button. You can then type your message and send.
While in Your Boutique, tap the furniture piece you wish to add styles to. Your “My Styles” will appear and you can tap the style you wish to add. You can add a maximum of 5 styles per piece of furniture and styles can only be added to furniture that have clothing merchandised on them, or to hanging clothing.
Since fashion draws inspiration from, and has a direct connection to some of the most important cities in the world, Stylmee levels are represented with icons of one of these major fashion cities. Each time you achieve a new level, you receive a new city level badge which shows on your Main Menu screen and is visible to other members of the Stylmee community. Each member starts in Sydney, Australia.
The trophy icon in the Main Menu is your personal trophy case. This is where all your level achievements and badges are stored. By tapping the icon, you will reveal all the achievements you have earned in the Stylmee community, including past city level badges. You must register with Appleʼs Game Center on the iPad in order to collect your badges.
To shop on Stylmee, you do not need to open a boutique. All you need to do is download the app from iTunes. Itʼs free. You can walk the Stylmee City and view all the branded shops, and as well have access to all the brand collections, social sharing functions and of course the ability to buy anything on the application. Opening a boutique gives you access to much, much more, including the social game. To get the full experience of the Stylmee Community and social game, you will need to get your own fashion boutique.

When you tap a piece of furniture, it will expose the collection pieces that are merchandised to that piece of furniture. When you tap the image of a style you like, you will be brought directly into that featured style detail page. From that page you can buy the item by tapping the “buy” button. The second way, is from the Main Menu, simply tap “brand collections” and you will be the collections from the worldʼs leading fashion brands. Simply tap on any style of interest. The featured style detail page will open and you can purchase by tapping the “buy” button.

To get to the Main Menu simply tap the Stylmee Icon in the top left corner of the screen from either the city or any boutique. When you are in any screen other than the city or boutique, you can get back to the Main Menu by tapping the Stylmee word logo in the top left corner of the screen.
To get to the Stylmee City from your boutique, tap the Stylmee Icon in the top left hand corner of the screen which will take you to the Main Menu. From there, simply tap “enter Stylmee City”.
To enter a branded boutique while walking through the Stylmee City, simply tap on the store sign which has the brand name. You will automatically be brought into that boutique.
Your boutique is available to you by tapping “my boutique” from the Main Menu. If you havenʼt opened your own boutique, simply follow the cue from tapping the “my boutique” icon in the Main Menu, and it will guide you with very easy instructions to follow.
You can find products within a boutique by simply moving toward any merchandised piece of furniture and tapping on it. When you tap on the furniture, a window will open exposing all the styles that are assigned or merchandised to that furniture. From there, tap on any image of interest and that styleʼs information will appear showing you a full description, price, ability to buy, share and even add to your boutique with the “+ to my boutique” button.

You can have your own boutique in Stylmee for different reasons. The main reason would be to allow you to take part in the full community experience and in the social game. With a boutique, you can visit your friendʼs and other members of the communityʼs boutique.
Your boutique is your opportunity to express your personal style and taste. A way to show other Stylmee members what your shop is all about. In fashion, a store helps to set the image of the brand to its customers. This is your chance to do the same. And, if you love designing and decorating, then you will enjoy the ability to create your very own personalized look by expressing your creativity.
To view a full brand collection, simply tap the Stylmee icon in the top left corner of your screen. This action will take you to the Main Menu. From the main menu, tap the “brand collections” tab and select the brand you wish to view from this list. You will notice, that beside the brand name, there is a link to the branded shop which is represented by the “chair” icon. By tapping this chair icon, you will automatically be directed to the boutique.
In your friendʼs boutique you can view their shop, the way they have decorated it, the styles they have merchandised from their “my styles” in their shop, their level, point total and Stylcash dollar total. You can also view your friends fashion feed, who they follow and who is following them. You can leave a message to your friends as well.
Your friends can view your shop, the way you have decorated it, the styles you have merchandised from your “my styles”, your level, your point total and your Stylcash dollars. They can also see your fashion feed, who you follow and who is following you. They will also be able to leave you a message.
To visit a friends boutique, go into your “fashion friends”, the default list of Stylmee members are the members who are following you. Tap the memberʼs boutique ( username ) and you will see their “my styles”. Beside their boutique name, will be a “chair” icon. Tap the icon and you will be brought into your friendʼs boutique.
There are two ways; to enter a branded boutique while walking through the Stylmee City, simply tap on the store sign which has the brand name. You will automatically be brought into that boutique.
To enter a branded boutique from the Main Menu, simply go into “brand collections”, you will find a listing of all designer brands on the left of the screen. Tap the brand you want and the “chair” icon will appear. Tap the chair icon and you will be brought directly to the branded boutique.
While in Your Boutique, tap the furniture piece you wish to add styles to. Your “My Styles” will appear and you can tap the style you wish to add. You can add a maximum of 5 styles per piece of furniture and styles can only be added to furniture that have clothing merchandised on them, or to hanging clothing.
When in your boutique, simply tap the “design boutique” button in the top right of the screen. Then you can choose to start decorating the floors and walls or add furniture. Once you select where to start, simply follow the prompts and you can begin to transform your empty space into the boutique youʼve always dreamed of owning!
The cost of each piece of furniture or design change is listed below the “select” button under the name of each item.
After you have added at least 1 piece of furniture, the “edit furniture” button will show on the Main Menu from within your boutique. When you tap the “edit furniture” button a rotating green arrow will point to the first piece of furniture you have added and by tapping the arrows on the “change selection” button, will move the arrow to the next piece of furniture from within your shop. When you find the piece that you wish to edit, simply begin editing; move the item, change the color, change the model or simply delete it. When done, simply tap the “menu” button.
When you have selected the desired piece of furniture you wish to delete, simply tap the “delete” button.
You can move any piece of furniture throughout your boutique by using the arrows on the right hand side of the screen. You are also able to rotate the furniture using the “rotate model” button below the arrows.
When you have selected the desired piece of furniture you wish to change the color of, simply tap the “color” arrows to scroll through the color options. If a piece of furniture or fixture does not have a color option listed, it means that it is only available in that color.
Yes, you can change any piece of furniture you have within your boutique. You are not able to move furniture in your friends or branded shops.
There are no refunds of Stylcash when you delete furniture from your boutique so please choose wisely and carefully.
Although there are many aspects to the Stylmee community and app, one of the most important is the social game. To take part, you need a boutique. The object of the Stylmee social game is to build your fashion empire by:
- designing and decorating your boutique to express your style and tastes
- fill your shop with the best styles from the designer brands on Stylmee ( my styles )
- earn Stylcash and points from your selections from members of the Stylmee community
The more Stylcash you earn, the more you can spend on furnishings. The more points you earn, the higher the level you obtain in the game. The higher the level in the game, the better the offers you receive from the brands in the Stylmee community.
For other members to visit your boutique they have to know you are there. To let people know you are there, you can invite friends to join, you can share your favorite styles through social media; Facebook, twitter, tumblr and email. You can also follow people in the Stylmee community that you find interesting. Just like owning a real boutique, in order to succeed, you need to get the word out!
You can also join and “like” us on our Facebook page here ( LINK ). This will announce to all your Facebook friends that you are a member of the Stylmee community.
When in a featured style, simply tap the “+ to my styles” button to the right of the style photo. This will automatically add that style to your “my styles” so that you can start earning Stylcash for each “love” you receive from other members. You can change styles within your “my styles” at any time to make sure that you are earning maximum Stylcash dollars for your boutique.
When in your “my styles”, simply select the style you wish to remove, and tap the “X-my style” button. This will remove the style and open a space for a new style to be added. The style will automatically be removed from the furniture you have merchandised it on in your boutique.
Depending on the size of your boutique, you can have 30 styles for a 1000 square foot boutique, 40 styles for a 2000 square foot boutique and 50 for a 3000 square foot boutique. The larger the boutique, the more styles you can add and the more Stylcash you can earn!
You can change styles in your “my styles” section at any time. When viewing styles from within your “my styles”, you can see how many “loves” you have received for each style and how much Stylcash that style has earned for you. Keep an eye out for poor performing styles so that you can change them for something more appealing to your ( customers ) fashion friends. When you remove a style, you keep all the Stylcash that has been earned by that style, so donʼt worry!
Stylcash is the virtual currency that is used in the Stylmee community. This currency can be exchanged for furniture and fixtures as well as taking advantage of brand offers on the app.

The heart is how you show your love for a style. When you “love” someoneʼs styles in their “my styles”, or when yours are loved by other members of the Stylmee community, Stylcash is earned.
For every Stylcash dollar you earn, you will earn one point. As your points increase, so do your levels. You do not lose any points when you spend your Stylcash.
